Individual Art Therapy Services in the Home Setting

        If you or your loved one is recovering from an illness, living with a disability, is coping with a chronic medical condition or faced with emotional challenges, you may benefit from individual art therapy sessions. Our art therapists can come to the comfort of you or your loved ones home/care facility and encourage expression of emotions, promote relaxation, and assist in fostering a positive sense of self through various therapeutic modalities. Rain or Shine Art Therapy Services can accommodate any level of ability and function. You do not need to be good at art or have any artistic skill or interest to benefit from services. Our services are for helping people with these debilitating challenges.

        Our staff understand the importance of respect, dignity, independence, and comfort for our clients. We are sensitive to the changes and problems individuals face, whether it be coping with medical challenges, pain, decline in independence, or issues of grief and loss, etc. We understand how stressful and upsetting it can be for their loved ones. Individual art therapy sessions can give you or your loved one the emotional support and therapy needed to achieve a better quality of life. 

Beginning Your Plan of Care

        We are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have. The consultation is free! We will develop a personalized treatment plan with you to help you reach your goals. Possible goals may be:

Sessions are 1 hour long and take place where you or your loved one live, whether that is in the home or in a care facility.

When it comes to emotional pain, physical pain, coping with medical diagnoses, mental health disorders, memory loss, confusion, agitation, etc., you do not need to go through it alone. We are here to help!
